DAEMON Tools es una aplicación para crear unidades virtuales de CD y DVD en tu disco duro y hacer creer a tu ordenador que tienes un lector físico de CD y/o DVD.
De este modo dispondrás de una unidad virtual (o hasta cuatro si así lo deseas) con la que podráscargar imágenes de CD o DVD (CUE, ISO, CCD, BWT, MDS, VHD, VMDK y CDI), emulando protecciones como Safedisc, Laserlock o Securom.
¿Para qué sirve DAEMON Tools?
DAEMON Tools es una herramienta de muchísima utilidad, y hasta que no empiezas a utilizarla no te das cuenta de las posibilidades que te ofrece. Y todo ello, sin complicaciones.
Con DAEMON Tools puedes ejecutar cualquier imagen de disco y, por ejemplo, evitar gastar un CD grabando esa imagen. Además, también puedes crear imágenes de tus CD y DVD favoritos y utilizar DAEMON Tools para ejecutarlas, evitando que se puedan estropear con el uso.
¿Cómo funciona DAEMON Tools?
Una vez instalado, los archivos de imagen (ISO, CUE...) se asociarán a DAEMON Tools y bastará con que hagas doble clic en cualquier de ellos para que se ejecute el programa y DAEMON Tools monte la imagen virtual.
A partir de ese momento, DAEMON Tools te permite trabajar con el contenido de la imagen como si la estuvieras reproduciendo desde un CD.
En caso de imagenes no asociadas, siempre puedes optar por montar la imagen manualmente, de manera muy sencilla.

Remember that almost all clothing made around the millennium seemed to have drawstrings incorporated somewhere? On the cuff of sleeves, on the bottom of trousers, around the waist, around the neck, even just randomly and functionless accross the back. Havent seen them around in a while and kind of miss the wrongness about them, so I made this scuba drawstring top.
/01 Cut a triangle that will fit around your torso.
/02 Make a hem of a little more than a cm in width on the top and bottom of the triangle.
/03 Make two darts on the side to give the top more shape. If you dont want to make darts, use a stretchier fabric so it wont be necessary.
/04 Make a small hem on both of the sides of the top.
/05 Put a piece of elastic through the top hem. It will take a bit of picking, but with some tweezers youll get it through eventually. Tie a knot in it and slide the knot inside the hem to make it invisible.
/06 The bottom elastic doesnt go through the hem, because it has to pull the two corners together, so sew the ends of the elastic to the corners.
/07 Add both of the stoppers to the elastics and its ready to be worn!

hullo, hullo!
You may have read that one of my resolutions this year is to get back to making,
to take the time to create.
So, since Ive had some interest in featuring the 10 Rooms headquarters on a rather fabulous venue,
(akkk!)
and Ive got to get busy zhushing up the place,
it seemed like the time to was nigh to break out the paint brushes.
Its been a LONG time,
so please be gentle in your comments :)
Whether or not they are masterpieces, it felt wonderful to be playing with paint on canvas,
ans I think they are going to the the first of many more...
We got a foot of snow here last night,
and I have a consult across town, so off to shovel before heading out -
