Waking up this morning, in the midst of ANOTHER epic winter storm attacking the east coast, its pretty easy to get carried away with the idea of warmth and sunshine, which is what makes this live video of Chilean group Dënver performing on a mountain side surrounded by el sol even more enjoyable. Dënvers been one of my fixations over the past couple years and this video shows why -- in a simple, stripped down, version of "Profundidad de Campo" off last years Fuera de Campo (review) -- Mariana Montenegro and Milton Mahan illustrate their poppy intellect with a song that sounds more and more melancholic every time I hear it.
