Crochet Garterlac Dishcloth

Materials required:
1 ball dishcloth cotton
G hook

Working in back loop in single crochet through out:

Directions:

Chain 30

SECTION ONE:

Row 1: Crochet 1, chain 1, turn.(1 stitch)

Row 2: Crochet 1, chain 1, turn.(1 stitch)

Row 3:Crochet 1, skip one beginning chain,
crochet 1, chain 1, turn.(2 stitches)

Row 4: Crochet 2, chain 1, turn.(2 stitches)

Row 5: Crochet 2, skip one beginning chain,
crochet 1, chain 1, turn.(3 stitches)

Row 6: Crochet 3, chain 1, turn.(3 stitches)

Row 7: Crochet 3, skip one beginning chain,
crochet 1, chain 1, turn.(4 stitches)

Row 8: Crochet 4, chain 1, turn.(4 stitches)

Row 9:Crochet 4, skip one beginning chain,
crochet 1, do not turn.(5 stitches)

Skip one beginning chain then repeat
rows 1-9, two times.

Three triangles in total.

SECTION TWO:

At the end of the last set of repeats, chain 1 and turn.

Row 10: Crochet 1, chain 1, turn.

Row 11: Crochet 2 in 1, chain 1, turn. (2 stitches)

Row 12: Crochet 1, crochet 2 together,
chain 1, turn.(2 stitches)

Row 13: Crochet 2 in the next stitch, crochet 1,
chain 1, turn.(3 stitches)

Row 14: Crochet 2, crochet 2 together,
chain 1, turn.(3 stitches)

Row 15: Crochet 1, crochet 2 in the next stitch,
chain 1, turn.(4 stitches)

Row 16: Crochet 3, crochet 2 together,
chain 1, turn.(4 stitches)

Row 17: Crochet 2, crochet 2 in next stitch,
crochet 1, turn.(5 stitches)

Row 18: Crochet 4, crochet 2 together,
do not turn.

SECTION THREE:

Row 19: Crochet 5 stitches along the side of the
previous row, I pick in the top of each ridge,
when possible, chain 1, turn.

Row 20: Crochet 5, chain 1 turn.

Row 21: Crochet 4, crochet 2 together,
chain 1, turn. (5 stitches)

Repeat rows 20 & 21 another four times,
but do not turn at the end of the fourth repeat.

Work one more SECTION THREE.

Then;

SECTION FOUR:

Row 22: Crochet 5 stitches along the side of the
previous row, one in the top of each ridge,
chain 1, turn.

Row 23: Crochet 5 stitches, chain 1, turn.

Row 24: Crochet 3, crochet 2 together,
chain 1, turn.(4 stitches)

Row 25: Crochet 4, , chain 1, turn.(4 stitches)

Row 26: Crochet 2, crochet 2 together,
chain 1, turn.(3 stitches)

Row 27: Crochet 3, chain 1, turn.(3 stitches)

Row 28: Crochet 1, crochet 2 together ,
chain 1, turn,(2 stitches)

Row 29: Crochet 2, chain 1, turn.(2 stitches)

Row 30: Crochet 2 together, chain 1,
turn.(1 stitches)

Work (SECTION THREE) 3 times.

Continue adding layers.

The next layer will be;
SECTION TWO
two sets of SECTION THREE,
then SECTION FOUR.

The next layer will be;
3 sets of SECTION THREE.

The next layer will be;
SECTION TWO,
two sets of SECTION THREE,
then SECTION FOUR.

Now it is time to make triangles along the
top.

SECTION FIVE

Row 31: Crochet 5 along the side of the previous
row, chain 1, turn. (6 stitches)

Row 32: Crochet 4, crochet 2 together,
chain 1, turn.(5 stitches)

Row 33: Crochet 3, crochet 2 together,
chain 1, turn.(4 stitches)

Row 34: Crochet 2, crochet 2 together,
chain 1, turn,(3 stitches)

Row 35: Crochet 1, crochet 2 together.(2 stitches)

Row 36: Crochet 2 together, ( 1 stitch)

Do not turn at the end of each triangle.

Make 2 more of SECTION FIVE

Fasten off last stitch and weave in ends.

To finish I just single crocheted an edge.
