Dangal



(English: wrestling competition) is an upcoming Indian biographical sports drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The film is produced by Disney Studio India. The film stars Aamir Khan portraying the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat. Geeta Phogat was Indias first female wrestler to win at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, where she won the gold medal (55 kg) while her sister Babita Kumari won the silver (51 kg). Dangal is the native name of a wrestling site in Hindi which is popular in India. It has also regional names like Kusti and Pehlwani in India. Dangal is scheduled to release on 23 December 2016. The music for Dangal will be composed by Pritam, while lyrics will be written by Amitabh Bhattacharya.


Aamir Khan



 was lately in news because of his muscle spasm injury. He is working very hard to fit perfectly in the role and has indulged himself neck deep in his Dangal character. Aamir has put on weight and now he is working on reducing his weight since the role he is about to play now asks for a lean body. If rumors that Bahubali 2 and Dangal will clash at the Box Office, then it is definitely a big game for Bollywood industry. Dangal movie is all about the sport of wrestling and the relationship shared between a father and daughter.

Aamir Khan will play the role of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat. Aamir will play the father to Indian women wrestlers Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari Phogat. It will show their journey of fighting with the society and then ultimately making it big to the Commonwealth games. Aamir will play a father to two young girls and he will be seen keeping the spirits of his two daughters high and encourage them take up the sport. Dangal movie will also be a movie that would encourage women to never lose and give it up to societal pressures.
